Novice 'A' - 12 entries - 2 Qualifiers
Novice 'B' - 7 entries - 1 Qualifier
Open 'A' - 2 entries - 1 Qualifier
Open 'B' - 8 entries - 1 Qualifier
Utility 'A' - 10 entries - 2 Qualifiers
Utility 'B' - 5 entries - 2 Qualifiers

I can feel myself moving away from showing into strictly obedience.

I'm a very happy bunny today. I gained my first ever Utility qualifier with my Otterhound bitch

For info she has been trained to 19's for everything except Recall/Long Sit/Long Down which she's been trained to 18's in

She is 75 days old and hopefully by the end of the week she'll be my first ever full CD CDX and UD Champion (and she has 8 points towards her GCH title too!)

She may well be the most titled Otterhound in the history of SD too (unless anyone knows otherwise)

That's an amazing achievement - do you mean she's trained to 18's/19's top row? At this rate you'll have her at 18's/19's middle row too by day 14.

For info she probably wouldn't gain a CD without at least 18 on her Obedience sessioning (as in Obedience/Condition/Muscle/Coat) as it forms part of the 'unseen' requirement to qualify as far as I'm aware but I'm sure that by day 14 you'll have her at 20's anyway.

Very well done, very impressive.

Just for interest, how many obedience training sessions have you been giving her every day? Did you keep a record of how her figures rose each day for each element of her 'top row'?

i honestly didn't pay much attention to it i just got her to 19s with extra sessions i had i think thats as far as I'm going to take her because I'm going to end up breeding her a lot

So my boy got his CD, working on training him for the higher events. Just curious, do obedience titles no longer show with the dogs name?

Anyone interested in this animal? i got him to learn the game a little but have decided to go into gsds. he has a little obedience training.

It takes about 24 hours for the title to appear by the dog's name. It'll be there soon.

Porky Pirate well be back in action tomorrow working on his UD. hell probably be the 1st dog i ever put on my retirement couch.

I am delighted to announce that today my Otterhound bitch CH Polar Sun Lex UD CDX

gained her UD title with the following:

3/18/2015 - 175.5 and 9 points
3/19/2015 - 173.0 and 9 points
3/20/2015 - 177.0 and 5 points

This is the first ever dog of any breed that I've trialled through all classes in obedience as well as campaigning in conformation shows.

I'm over the moon with my UD but very disappointed that I seem to have lost my CDX title off my bitch's name. I think I'll have to message admin to ask why winning a UD deletes the CDX.
