It is the way dogs are titled in real life obedience. I tried to explain more fully on your bug post.

Classes and titles are different in UK and US.

Just seeing this thread! I've been working on this dog for the past few months just to get back into obedience again and I forgot how much I loved it! He finished his UD title last week, so he now holds a CH, GCH, and UD title

As regards obedience titles, I am in Australia, and that is how it is done here, and from what I have seen and read on American sites that I have joined, that is how it is done there. I am not sure about the UK.

When you see multiple titles on a dog, they are titles from other disciplines, like the latest agility title, latest jumping title, latest tracking title, latest gundog title and latest games title etc.

Some dogs have a dictionary after their name, they are involved in so many different disciplines *lol*

I am not trialing any more dogs for obedience at the moment because I have been sessioning two show pups, however I'm thinking about starting one of my Bearded Collie's on obedience soon

GCH Herori Caraway of Magic Acres CD now has his CD title with his 3rd leg at 194 pts.

My girl CH DenKees Faerie Silver CDX has just completed her first UD trial with a score of 193.5.
