Hi everyone! Just realized this thread was here! I am stuck.....I love the breed but just haven't produced anything that I absolutely love yet. I put all my girls up for sale and am considering bringing in new stock but then again I don't know if that is the best move either. Help?
As mentioned, your bitches are lovely and within a competitive SOP/trait range for the breed. Hopefully your House Of Cards litter produces well, and history shows that there is a high chance of high SOP/trait puppies.

If you would like to diversify your lines, I'd be happy to offer you a puppy/adult where possible.

In fact, I am willing to offer any kennel puppies/adults from my litters when I can. I usually do put the odd puppy up for general sale, but often my litters only produce 1-2 keeper puppies anyway and I usually retain them in this kennel for show/breeding.

Hello, I am back after a 5+ year absence and I am looking for good breeding quality females. I have purchased a couple but if anyone has anything that isn't listed for sale that they would be willing to part with I would be interested. I would like them to go back to my old dogs (everything I have looked at so far does) put it is not absolutely necessary.

I love that the breed forum is still active in Kees. The other breeds I have currently are not active in their forum. sad :(

Good to be back, I see some familiar names here still.

I decided to pick up a couple of starter bitches to help with some of the lower traits and got lucky and actually got a couple that may help. I did this in Rat Terriers and was successful but it took a year and a lot of $$ so I don't expect anything overnight and I will do this on a much smaller scale than the Rats. Wish me luck happy :)

Welcome back Arkay! I was thinking about you the other day when I was digging through older breeders looking for useable studs for some genetic diversity. Im pretty sure that any of em now, trace em back far enough and you'll find some of your stock happy :) You were quite prolific back in the day.

Welcome happy :)
I have a litter due tomorrow, and can perhaps have a look at my kennel to see if I have anything available for you.

Got two 94.35 siblings (a dog and a bitch) out of PPK Furry Wall and Analeyn's House of Cards. What a pleasant surprise to wake up to! I've got a few more litters coming up in the next few days, and am officially full on waiting to session the next generation for the ring (Im dabbling in Akitas too), so any dogs over 94.1 will be up for sale and potentially some bitches too.

House of Cards litter was pretty good. Got 3 decent pups, 94 bitch, 94.05 bitch (sold), and a 94.10 male. I debated on keeping him....still up in the air. Oh decisions decisions.

Im starting to worry about genetics in my own kennel. Just about every decent dog and bitch Ive got was sired by House of Cards. Looks like Im gonna be using a lot of outside studs in the reasonably near future when my girls hit maturity...

Nevermind, I lied. While it's true that all my 94.2 and ups have his genetics, I have plenty of good Dragunov and Winterheart line genetics just under that, so I should be able to maintain sufficient diversity...

I'm not so worried about my own lines. I have kept a few studs to use in the future to ensure variation.

Nothing new here. Hoping my new boy that is sessioning will be competitive enough. Hoping to breed another litter in the next few days. Gotta find another bitch to breed.

Spyte, Shelhond does have that 94.1 bitch out of the House of Cards line for sale at the moment. She's young, but she might be a nice producer for you.

LOL. I didnt even click on her this morning to see if she'd sold yet, as she was still showing on the for sale list. Im kind of surprised that a bitch with those genetics and SOP sat on the sale list for a few days!

I'm glad she was still available. I am very excited about the future of my Keeshonds. Now I just have to get my kennel page looking better, put up my Keeshond banner and get my boy sessioned and showing.

The Kennel Club (UK) system, which is also used by the Australian National Kennel Council[1] and in other countries, is considered the most difficult to earn a title under.
