95.55 is still definitely respectable! The 95.6,95.7, and 95.8s are definitely the exception rather than the rule at this point.

Thanks Gypsy! He is a good pup just wish there were others out of the two breedings who were as good as him or better. I had to FH a bunch of them because they were 94 and under SOP.

Thanks Painted happy :)

You will get there, just keep trying, my 95.70 girl is my one and only pup above 95.55.
In the process I have FH'ed countless pups in the last few weeks But she was the result of my least likely pairing, she was not expected .. *lol*.

So I had 2 excellent litters drop today. And I have 10 more litters due within the week. I am very rapidly approaching the dog limit. To that end, I have quite a few pups and a few older dogs up for sale. They'll stay for sale for 3 days. Offer whatever you want for them, Im not worried about the money.

Wow -- congrats on the lovely pups, you have some very nice prospects there happy :)

Hoping for some nice results from my next seven litters - so far my higher SOP bitches have been duds in the puppy department. My one 95.70 pup came from a 94.95 SOP bitch.

I hear ya Aussie! I was going through last night to try and weed down my lower SOP broodies, but all the lower ladies at the ones who are producing!

Once again, a very nice pup from a mating I didn't expect great things from.

I have been trying to keep the line from Queen Vashti, my very first dog on Showdog going, and the effort has finally come to fruition with the little girl who arrived tonight. Even down to the same colour as Vashti. Am so very pleased, despite her poor feet.

95.85 SOP

Thanks everyone - Yes it does seem as though the breed is doing one of it's "periodic moves upward".

That is a nice boy Winter Heart - I see he has a theoretical SOP of 95.70. I can't -- too many dogs, I am going to have to have a purge soon sad :(

I am in shock (happy shock!!!!!!)
And I have to take back what I said about having no luck with low SS bitches. Foxy Lady has a SS of 18.1 (theoretical SOP of 95.15). I bred her to Lost in Space and she has produced a great litter. From 5 pups -

A fabulous 95.95 boy

Finally managed a get better dog pup than my bitch pups - first for a long time.

and two useful pups

A 95.40 boy

and a 95.35 girl

Yay Spyte! I was worrying about ya. As you can see from the most recent posts, its an exciting time for keeshonds. We're having another "quick leap" in SOP.

Taste of Victory going up for stud. Not as nice as some lately perhaps, but solid lines, decent SOP and nice coat and hind.

Did you know?
A conformation dog show is not a comparison of one dog to another but a comparison of each dog to a judge's mental image of the ideal breed type as outlined in the individual breed's breed standard.
