I've gotten a couple more nice pups, what is high SOP right now? I don't think I'm there, but glad to see my boys are starting to produce well. 96.55 boy www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14476125 96.60 boy www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14480204 I also went through my kennel and looked at what i have as the best # in each stat, it's been a while since I've done that. Here's what I have... (Not all the same dog of course!) Head - 9.8 FQ - 9.5 HQ - 10.4 Gait - 9.7 TNB - 9.7 Coat - 9.8 Size - 9.4 Temp - 9.6 Feet - 9.5 If anyone else is interested in doing it, I'm curious as to what everyone else has! |

Ahhh... I'm in heaven right now! I had my first big show wins since I came back, produced 2 really high sops, and finally feel like I am catching up, even by a bit, to everyone else. 96.7 male www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14482249 I found him not to long ago so I'm still at the 'I adore you, you're the epitome of greatness' stage of excitement, but his stats really are rather fragile, both by way of 9.5s and by patchwork parents (rather then mostly homogenous parents that attempt to both amplify and solidify certain traits.) 96.6 female www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14482262 Also not found that long ago but she is more solid, and thus even more exciting! *starving zombie look* i want to show her... but I don't think I'm financially stable enough to train more then one dog at a time. Top stats: Head: 9.8 F/Q: 9.6 H/Q: 10.3 Gait: 9.7 TNB: 9.7 Coat: 9.8 Size: 9.5 Temp: 9.7 Feet: 9.3 quoteThis is very true. In all the eras I popped in, the Keeshond community always had a warm, relaxing quality to it, this time around is no exception. ^_^ |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) He is a lovely boy good stuff ![]() I am still waiting for my first girl over 96.35 in either kennel, at least I have some nice boys now. This boy will be going up for stud soon, 96.25 SOP with a 9.9 coat. www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14410570 And this boy has produced two very nice 9.9's despite being low SS and only 96.20 adjusted SOP. www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14379956 The coated dogs are gradually catching up - when I got the 9.9 coat in the breed they were way behind in SOP. ----- Last edited by Aussiewolf on 11/17/2015 1:26:27 PM |

I added a few specialties over the next month from one of my other kennels, since we didn't have any. I'll add payouts too shortly. |

I'm feeling very discouraged. I really love the community here, but not real sure that the breed is loving me. My best dog: 96.35 SOP www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14451728 My best female: 96.50 SOP www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14382819 Head: 9.8 FQ: 9.4 HQ: 10.3 Gait: 9.7 TN&B: 9.7 Coat: 9.8 Size: 9.5 Temp: 9.6 Feet: 9.3 I have some females that will be coming of age soon so perhaps things will get better ![]() -Serenity |

Hang in there Xi-Chi -- I know that feeling very well, its only recently I had a couple of males whelped at 96.60 (one is only 96.60 adjusted) and I am still trying to get a female over 96.35. And I have bred a lot of litters. Guess I am just stubborn. I seem to get there eventually. Cross fingers that you have some stunning litters coming soon. |

Don't get discouraged xi-chi! You will catch up. I don't have that many high SOP dogs/bitches, only a couple. The rest of mine sit around 96.35 and 96.40. |

Thanks Lyc! Ive wished for more specialties lately, but am digging out of a financial hole so couldnt sponsor them! Youre the best. Xi, I JUST got my first homebred 96.5 this week. Average is 96.4. Really, you're doing fine. ![]() |

I have one kennel that has a very healthy balance (it's a color breeding kennel, so nothing even close to showable, so full salary and minimal food). How often do people like specialties? Is weekly too much? (Not doing one the week of the National). I can likely sponsor one a week for a while, maybe not doing payouts on each but at least we'll have a show. |

Dayum! Beyond the Sky might have been kinda a dud in the show ring, but look what she just whelped! Anyone have a higher SOP in their kennel, or is this the highest currently? www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14489447 |

this post has been edited 2 time(s) Congrats on a very pretty girl Gypsy ![]() Now I am very green eyed! In breeding - my highest SOP boy is 96.60 and the highest girls are 96.35 (kinda stuck). I did get a 96.40 bitch from Analyen, but she has a poor coat. ----- Last edited by Aussiewolfsister on 11/20/2015 3:02:37 PM |
