She has some very nice stats all around Aussie. I would keep her and give her a try if you have room. Some with lower show shine end up producing the best. I also like the fact that she has a 9.6 top neck and back and a 9.6 gait.

A 95.85 bitch isn't a bad broodie at all. Don't get discouraged. happy :)

Thanks Winter Heart happy :)

Just had one of my 9.6 F/Q bitches whelp a nice little bitch pup tonight.

www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14165702

Although not an outstanding SOP, she is only 95.75, she has inherited mum's 9.6 F/Q, has a 9.3 size and 10.4 H/Q. Her worst trait is 8.9 feet. She will be a very nice brood bitch. Really looking forward to her going to Analeyn's Break the Ice, if he is available!!!!

I might even try and finish her.

I'm quite satisfied with my FQ's now - I think I'm going to move on to feet now. It's quite a weak point (like FQ used to be!), in my kennel at least, so it will be interesting trying to bring that up to the mark.

I just got a 9.5 size pup, a new high for my kennel.

www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14171199 Adjusted SOP is 95.85 so I'm okay with that.

His brother is nice too, www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14171198

I've been trying to bring up size, feet and FQ kind of all at the same time (trying to pick the best males overall in those traits, but matching my girl's lowest of the three with a male who's highest in the three. Makes sense in my head, but hard to explain!)

He's lovely! Congrats happy :) I would love to pair him to some of my bitches later on.

Defy Gravity has produced a couple of nice puppies for me. 96.20 dog & 95.95 bitch with a 9.5 Forequarter which I am super pleased about.

Congrats on the lovely pups. happy :)

Have to admit I am getting frustrated, have FHed most of my last 11/12 litters, only kept a 95.75 bitch and a low SS theoretical 96.00 bitch. Even going outside has not succeeded.

Thanks to Gypsy Wind for selling me "Gypsy Winds Mover and Shaker".

Congrats on the pups, Analeyn! I hope my boy keeps on producing. And Lycaons, I will definitely breed to your boy with the 9.5 size once he is old enough.

Don't get frustrated Aussie. You can only go up from here! I think all the kennels go through a slump at some point.

Hello MudBug! I think the current highest SOP is 96.30 and most of the dogs/bitches showing right now are 95.70 and up. There are a few with 94 SOP that are showing as well.

In a couple days, I can send a personal message with some bitches. Saturday is when most of my litters happen.

^ What Winterheart said about SOPS I'd agree with. I'd be happy to sell ya a broodie to get ya started. If you want to look through my girls, just pick one that isn't a champion, currently being sessioned or currently pregnant and you can have her. I also am expecting 8 litters in the next few days and am at just about show capacity so I'll keep you in mind if anything else whelps. WElcome to keeshonds happy :)

Mud, if you want, have 2 new girls, one of whom I'd consider finishable.

Still looking for a 9.9 in head or coat. Ive seen 9.9s in stats in other breeds, so I know they exist...

Here was the dog that had the 10 head: www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?name=Ch%20DutchCk%20Panther

It's so weird that the traits for head and coat are stagnant on this breed. Normally they move pretty quickly in other breeds.

I got this boy quite a while ago. I managed to keep the 10.00 head going for 3 generations, then lost it, and have not been able to get one since.

Did you know?
In the American Kennel Club, a dog needs 15 points to become a Champion, with each win gaining anywhere from zero to five points depending on the number of dogs competing and the area where the show is held.
