Ohs noes! We're in danger of falling off the latest topics list.

There, fixed it.

How's everyone's doing? I feel like I get one or two REALLY nice dogs once in a while and the rest of my breedings suck. Where have all the "middle ground" pups gone? sad :( Oh well, maybe when some of my higher SOPs hit breeding age it'll be time for another good jump.

And as always, I am STILL on the lookout for a solid 9.9 HEAD.

Have made some progress.

Two nice boys, at 96.60 and one 96.60 adjusted. A lower middle of the road boy at 96.40. An a high middle of the road girl at 96.50 (At least she is an improvement on the 96.30 girls).

Still crossing fingers for more decent girl pups happy :)

Hey guys. I have chosen to leave the breed. I don't feel I was making much progress. I do thank you all for having me and greatly appreciate those who helped me get started. I wish I could have contributed more.

Sorry to see you go Serenity, we will miss you.

On the litter front - another 96.40 girl .... but the sad part is her sister, 96.60 real SOP, with 19.5 SS which makes her - 96.85 adjusted. At least she will give me a high end brood bitch.

Unfortunately this boy is low SS, but will be useful despite that. Adjusted SOP of 96.55, with a 10.00 coat.

Ive felt that way for a while Winter. Every month I think about cancelling, but keep playing cause I cant bear to see my hard work go to waste.

That's basically where I am at Gypsy. I totally agree with you about the hard work part. I think I am going to get show quality Biscuit Samoyeds in my other kennel (it's been a long ongoing project of mine) and keep playing this one for a bit longer before I cancel.

Giving everybody a heads up, within the next couple months I'm probably going to start phasing out my kennels. This game is becoming tiring to me and starting in January I just won't have any time to play between going to school and working full time. I'll see what my next litters produce this weekend but I'll make another post when the entire kennel is going up for sale. It'll probably be around the first week of January.

Will be very sorry to see you go Winter Heart, if you do, but can understand that if it is not enjoyable anymore to you.

Another topic, I have a 96.30 puppy for sale - with a 9.6 FQ, 10.4 HQ, 9.5 Gait and 9.6 TNB --- the only problem is his ordinary size and feet, and as you can see his SOP is not great.

Latest pup -- he is only 96.30 SOP, and has a lousy coat --- but just love those 9.5 feet happy :)

Aussie, let me know if you plan to FH your "feet" boy, I'll take him in this kennel if you do! Or, let me know when he goes up for stud (since right now, I only have 2 feet studs that meet my criteria! And they're both in my other Kees kennel, so I'd like to get some diversity there.)

I plan on keeping him, but he will go up for stud duties at 30 days. If I get any more like him I will let you know. He is a product of a 9.3 to 9.4 feet mating.

Did you know?
The figure 8 exercise requires the team to heel in a figure 8 pattern either on or off leash. Generally two of the ring stewards will assist the judge with this exercise by acting as "posts", standing 8 feet apart, that the team walks around to form the loops of the figure 8.
