So I got a 10.2 head bitch here in my project kennel! Fingers crossed for some good heads in the next generation!

Congratulations happy :)

I am raising a - very rare - 9.7 head girl for breeding in the hope of increasing the random factor when I breed her and maybe breaking the 9.8 deadlock in heads.

Just a glance through your kennel, says you have made great progress with your new lines. Where is your highest SOP now?

I have got to 97.55 SOP with this nice boy:

Ty ty. My current highest SOP is 79.9. Seeing lots more in the 70s now. Im hoping to be in the low 90s in another month or two. I gotta say, this new project is really relaxing. No more stressing about entering shows or sessioning or even logging on every day, but still getting the satisfaction of seeing some progress.

Wow. Its kind of depressing. Keeshonds were THRIVING here for so long, but it looks like we're sinking back into obscurity.

For me, the continued silence from admin/lack of repairs or implementation of fixes for glitches in showing have really killed any desire to show. Im just kind of plodding along over here with my head project but am pretty meh about it. sad :(

Yes, it is depressing, most of the showing is Shelhond and my two kennels with Arkay and Cwm Ddu occasionally putting dogs in. And the bulk of the studs are mine now. I am starting to have to think carefully about ensuring I keep diversity in my bloodlines.

Congratulations on both counts. The closest I have in FQ is 9.8, which I am trying to keep going.

YES! 10.0 head! Now to just hope it keeps going forward, and bring the rest of the stats up...

Congratulations!!!

I'm still stuck on 9.8 heads, unfortunately. sad :(

On the good side, 9.9 coats are very prominent in both my kennels, and 10 coats are gradually moving in happy :)

Don't know if anyone from the Keesie community reads this any more.... sad :(

But just in case they are, I am letting you know that a while ago I finally cracked 10 TNB in a not so good boy -- and forgot about this thread to let you all know. I have now managed to get this ideal trait into 2 very nice male pups (the oldest is now 11 days old), so I will let you all know they are available for breeding.

The not so good boy has also passed on a 9.8 FQ, and I have now got another very nice male pup with 9.8 size, and he is also 11 days old, and I will let you know when he is available for breeding.

Hopefully I will have some available with the improved traits for sale eventually.

Hi,

Just trying to revive an old thread ---

My last litters were almost a wipeout (they are about to become adults), one nice girl and a couple of not bad boys.

But a hidden gem among them, this boy is low SS, but he has arrived with the first 10 hindquarter I have seen in Keeshonds happy :)

I could not resist his name LOL:

www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=16685892

He will go up for stud when he is ready....

Hi,

Just announcing this boy is now up for stud. If you want to take risk with a low SS boy, he has a 10 Gait:

Hello! Nice idea to re-start the thread.
I used to be "Analeyn", I hope to recover that account with help from admin and possibly transfer Kees to there eventually and keep malamutes in this kennel, unsure yet.
I'll try to be active here when possible happy :)

Just found this new pup in my kennel -- he is good and bad.

Disappointing Show Shine --- but a lovely combination of traits.

He is 99.00 adjusted.

Did you know?
The figure 8 exercise requires the team to heel in a figure 8 pattern either on or off leash. Generally two of the ring stewards will assist the judge with this exercise by acting as "posts", standing 8 feet apart, that the team walks around to form the loops of the figure 8.
