Gday Keeshond peeps - I'm interested in taking on a few Keeshond girls for showing to see if this breed takes my interest enough to come over and 'join the dark side' Hahaaa!

I've recently left Tolians in this kennel and am working my way into Swedish Vallhunds and Tibetan Spaniels, but whilst I'm waiting for things to take off I'd like to be able to show Keeshonds in the mean time happy :)

Would anyone be willing to sell/lend me a couple of show quality girls? (I'm happy to session them and show to CH/GCH titles).

I've been on SD for nearly 10 years and have finished over 500 CH's - but have never worked in Keeshond's before.

(My current kennels include: Dalkeith, Ariege, Northern Lightz, Quileute Legends and Chaos and Havoc).

Welcome to the breed. I'm a bit short on show quality girls right now, but if you'd like a broodie to try your luck with, www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14431531 is ready to breed now.

Just noticed Feaster is (currently anyway) scheduled to judge the SDWC this month. Hopefully that means keeshonds will do well- a group or show placement maybe even!

Welcome to Keesies Ariege.

I have a new litter on the ground, by Playing with Fire out of Analeyn Stealing the Spotlight, and have a quite nice 96.45 bitch available. If you are interested in her let me know and I will put her up for you.

I am thrilled with this litter as I have, with her sister, my highest SOP pup by a long way (96.85), and I am looking forward to showing her:

I added a specialty show for news years since it will be the last month I'm playing this game. If anybody is interested in certain dogs, send me a message and when I'm about to put them up I'll let you guys know.

I added a couple more specialties and put payouts on all that we have so far (from my color breeding Canaan kennel).

And I got a nice pup, my new high SOP at 96.70 (and 9.5 size!)

Very nice pup! And yay! Ty for more specialties and payouts.

Roll call! How is everyone else faring? I fh'd a ton of breeding bitches lately and am waiting for new ones to age up, so not a lot of litters for me. A couple of ring prospects being sessioned right now. Im debating whether or not to GCH that 96.75 bitch or breed her when she hits 30 days. On one hand, I like the GCH prestige, but on the other I think she would throw some very nice pups. Oh, and got my FIRST bronze GCH with Just Dont Ask recently! happy :)

Congratulations all of you!

On the game on the game, I've been pretty steady in my progress, though I haven't been able to dedicate as much time to the game as I would like. The 96.7 boy became a champion with surprising ease and will be up for stud tomorrow, and I recently got an unexpected 96.7 (lowest stat is 9.4) puppy that almost took everything good about each parent, the wish I have for every litter.<thank you lycaon for the use of your stud.

Off the game I'm getting ready to see family again finally, yay Christmas!

Gypsy, I'd likely GCH the girl then breed her. That's what I'm doing with one of my higher SOP girls. If she doesn't continue to do well, then give up and breed her (again, my plan with my girl)

Overall, I'm gradually raising the overall SOP of my dogs (in this kennel at least). I'm actually showing some dogs (laid off that for a while!). Generally, my boys seem to be better than my girls.

Not really far enough along in the trait breeding kennel to see progress yet, but hoping I see it there soon. But, I'm managing to keep the overal SOP relatively current while working on trait (though there are definitely some dogs there that don't meet my criteria for keeping in this kennel, even with decent SOP).

Did you know?
A specialty show may be regional or national. A "Best in Show" win at a national specialty show is tremendously prestigious, indicating that the winning dog or bitch triumphed at a contest which attracted entries from the most serious fanciers of that breed in the country or continent. Some specialty shows attract international entries.
