this post has been edited 1 time(s) Lycaons, Very unusual. You have been using top handlers too! Perhaps it is the hidden trait factor in play, as you say. Have you tried extra sessioning? I have found, across my kennels, that those additional sessions do have some impact upon wins. Analeyn ----- Last edited by Analeyn on 5/28/2015 8:18:36 PM |

this post has been edited 5 time(s) This is the first time for a long time that I have decent stud dogs available. I used to get great females, and second rate males. So the wheel does turn --- even if slowly *lol* I am 4 points/1 Champion away from my first ever bronze merit. Fingers crossed I can get the boy up for my girl Star of Venus to become a Bronze Merit dam. 5 litters, most FHed, a couple of 95.55, and one 95.65 ... and the pick of the pups hit by the low SS curse, 94.45 real/95.90 theoretical, if my maths is correct L0L www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14055111 Congrats to those with the lovely pups ![]() ----- Last edited by Aussiewolfsister on 5/29/2015 2:58:59 AM ----- Last edited by Aussiewolfsister on 5/29/2015 4:27:18 AM ----- Last edited by Aussiewolfsister on 5/29/2015 5:36:42 PM |

Grats especially to Spyte! Im so thrilled when we see such big gains in the breed in a relatively short amount of time. And now taking BiS! Yay us! Its a priviledge to be part of such a thriving breed with y'all. |

Analeyn I'll try sessioning him a bit more, I stopped once he hit 20, though he's still on my good food. It doesn't make much sense, except for the hidden factors. A bit disappointing that he doesn't show well, esp since I've not gotten many show pups lately! I'm hoping he produces well! Lycaons |

Just in case he may be useful, I have put another boy up for stud duties, he is 95.50 real SOP/ 95.60 theoretical SOP. Not got a great F/Q though. www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13985291 DenKees Foxfire |

I'll take him! My kennel needs new life. I haven't had any decent show or breeding prospects in a couple of months. |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) I think ... I have my first Bronze merit for my girl Star of Venus. If I read it correctly she has to whelp 5 Champions, and Epsilon Indi has just become her fifth. I have to admit to a little bit of show stacking, but him being only 95.15 in SOP - he needed a bit of help *lol*. Don't know how long it takes to come through. Congrats to Analeyn for another BIS ![]() I have my fingers crossed for my newest Buhund in my other kennel, I keep getting show placings (up to 2nd) for them under Alexander Crossland. Hoping he soon goes one step further for me and I finally can get my first BIS with them. ----- Last edited by Aussiewolfsister on 6/2/2015 2:35:11 AM |

Having another run of low SS again. The pick of the pups from the latest litter - 18.3 SS, but lovely traits. www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=14066429 |

New stud! I think its the best breeding age stud I have right now, stats wise. I hope he produces well! www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=13999512 |

Haven't read up for a while, thanks for the congrats ![]() Thanks for putting your boy up Gypsy. How is the puppy business going for everyone else? I seem to have hit a stagnant time. My best traited pups have arrived with low SS shine, and the rest are under 95.60 or down right pet quality *lol*. |

Ive had a couple of low ss litters lately, but have been getting enough decent prospects that Im reasonably satisfied. Many of my 95.6 and up studs and bitches are coming up on 30 days so Im looking forward to seeing what I get soon! |

I do so wish *lol*. I have two bitches over 95.55 older that 7 days, and 3 boys over 95.55 older than 7 days. The bulk of my stock is between 95.30 and 95.55. Although I rather think I am still better off than some breeders. Might have to have a bit of a clean out soon. |
