Def nice pup Lycaons.

And yes, Im forever homing a lot of litters myself lately. Have gotten a few middling pups good enough for breeding, but nothing spectacular for the show ring in at least a few weeks.

I have FHed a lot of puppies. I am looking for something specific in a puppy and none are doing it for me. I am glad that the boy I just sold will be coming back to be used as a stud, hopefully I can enhance some lines with him in due time.

I'm sure that everyone knows, but just as a reminder - I have a basic kennel, Revelstone, which I use to hold studs in that I can no longer make room for in Analeyn. You'll see that there are 3 or so Analeyn studs up from this kennel for $25. happy :)

Guys, Im being biten by the keeshond bug again. I grew up in a conformation/obedience showing and breeding keeshond family. My husband doesnt want one. But I miss the breed sooo badly. A few times a year, I start looking up local breeders and daydreaming. Sigh. The only thing keeping me from going to find one is that my daughter has a pending service dog application and we can't get any other pets until its approved or not. ::sigh::

On that note, apparently there was a big, 100-200 (I think) Keeshond rescue in NY state in December. I think they're still looking for rescue homes...just sayin...

And the teeniest little brag - Get Lucky finished his Ch tonight and he's not even fully sessioned across the board yet. I think Im gonna keep campaigning him. And yes, he'll be up for stud in 8 days. He's got Slenderman and House of Cards both in his pedigree...

Congratulations Gypsy happy :)

Very well done to get him finished before fully sessioned.

I have got 1 point left to go to get Butterfly Wing's Grand title. Fingers crossed she gets there soon, so she can become a full time mum.
Hmmmm, your boy might just make a good mate for her too.

I like that he is wolfgray and black, I only have three in my kennel of that colour

Yeah, I was thrilled he was wolfgray! Whenever I see one of them, I always send a little mental thanks to Laurel Manor for bringing the color back. I miss them, I was sad they stopped playing again. And ty. Goodluck getting your girl's GCh! Only a matter of time happy :)

Spyte- she has def thrown some nice pups! I'd buy her, but my goal for the past week has been downsizing my kennel too! Rapidly approaching the 30 dog limit over here....good luck selling her!

Don't know if I am missing something or there is a glitch happening.

I have 3 sessions left to use and two pups. One pup has has two sessions used, the other pup none at all since birth. And the game will not give me the option to use any of my three remaining sessions on these pups. I can't see any reason why.

Does anyone know if I am missing some restriction on sessions?

An aside, even though these pups are only 95.10 and 95.20 - I rather like them happy :)

Grats Analeyn!

Of my 7 litters due since last Thursdayish, I have only kept ONE bitch to be a broody. Another day, another whole litter FH'd. Sigh. At least Get Lucky is doing well enough to keep me reasonably content right now.

Congrats on Interstellar! I couldn't be happier with my bitch that he sired.

Hopefully his grand-babies take after him!

I am in the FH rut right now too, in all my breeds

Just wondering. We have two breed specialties on the same day. I looked in the help section, and it seemed to indicate that the showing on any particular day is limited to 1 breed specialty and one all breed show.

Quote:
"If a dog or bitch is entered in more than one all-breed show or more than one specialty in one day, the last shows entered will be removed from the show schedule for that dog or bitch."

Looks like both shows might shrink a bit on the day.

I don't think that the Nationals count as a specialty. The Nationals are the Nationals, and any additional breed shows added are those that count towards the limit.

I may be wrong, but it wouldn't make sense otherwise.

happy :)

Did you know?
A conformation dog show is not a comparison of one dog to another but a comparison of each dog to a judge's mental image of the ideal breed type as outlined in the individual breed's breed standard.
